Motivation and Organizational Support that Affecting Quality of Working Life of Public Health Officer at Sub-District Health Promoting Hospitals in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study the motivation and organizational support that affecting quality of working life of public health officer at sub-district health promoting hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima province. The samples were 182 health personnel randomly selected by systematic random sampling from 330 populations. The questionnaire was tested for reliability with Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient that was at 0.96 Data distribution was performed by descriptive and inferential statistics. The result showed that the motivation, organizational support and quality of working life of public health officer at sub-district health promoting hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima province were at high level with averages 3.88(S.D.=0.39), 3.72(S.D.=0.51) and 3.72(S.D.=0.47), respectively. Administrative factor; status; supervision technical; personal life and materials can predict the quality of working life of public health officer at 68.6 percentage (R2=0.686, p-value<0.001)
