Ergonomic Risk Assessment by RULA in Drinking Water Plants Staffs in Chalomephakiat District, Burirum Province

This study was a cross-sectional analytic research. Data were collected by using structural questionnaires and the standard rapid upper limb assessment (RULA) in 64 Drinking water plants staffs in Chalomephakiat District, Burirum Province. by purposive sampling method. Data analysis were descriptive statistics and inferential statistics for correlation analysis at p-value <0.05. Three-month prevalence of Musculoskeletal Disorder was 57.81 %. The most of the pain in the right hand and wrist 25.76% and left 34.38 %. results of the assessment of ergonomics It was found that the sample group had the highest risk of working position, level 4, 23.44 %, and the most common risk at level 2 was 51.56%. The posture of the body that is leaning forward (Chi-Square = 30.276, p- value < 0.001) In conclusions, this study risk assessment, work posture Should a relief to move or move the drinking water tank and adjust the level to suit the usage too.
