Abstract

Objectives of the study were to determine the survival rate, growth performance, fresh weight and biomass yields by developing allometric equations and financial return of 4-year-old Eucalyptus Clone K58 and K62 plantations planted in paired rows at Sa Kaeo Plantation, Sa Kaeo province. The T-test at a significance level of 0.05 was used to compare the value of the means of K58 and K62 samples. The results found the average survival rate, diameter at breast height (DBH), aboveground fresh weight and aboveground biomass were not statistically significant differences between Eucalyptus Clone K58 and K62. The average height was statistically significant difference between Eucalyptus Clone K58 and K62. The average survival rate of Eucalyptus Clone K58 and K62 were 86.54 and 83.07 percent, average heights were 14.34 and 12.99 m, average DBHs were 9.69 and 8.80 cm, average aboveground fresh weights were 14.34 and 13.43 tonnes/rai and average aboveground biomass were 7.19 and 7.07 tonnes/rai, respectively. Also, financial return at the given discount rates of 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 percent showed Eucalyptus Clone K58 and K62 plantations provide profit.
