Abstract

The problems of teenages are often caused by a behavior problem including problem of sexual
before mature which adversely affect their family and society. This research aimed to test the effectiveness
of the health education program for sexual before premature age prevention of the sixth grade students inNakhon Ratchasima provunce. A total of 64 students, 32 students in the experimental and 32 students in the comparison group were recruited in this study. The experimental group was received health education program that composed of lecture with media, games, group discussion etc. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, and comparison statistics were used paired t- test, and independent sample t- test. The significant was set at p-value < 0.05 and 95% confidence interval. At the end of the study, the experimental group had mean score of knowledge and intended to have sexual relation in appropriate age were higher than before and comparison group significantly (p-value<.001). Creative thinking and critical thinking, self awareness and empathy, emotional and stress management, self- esteem and social responsibility, Communication and inter-personals interaction were higher than before and comparison group significantly (p-value<.01). Decision and problem solving were higher than before and comparison group significantly (p-value<.05).
