ความคิดเห็นของเกษตรกรต่อการพัฒนาการเกษตรในเขตชลประทานโครงการส่งน้ำ และบำรุงรักษา หนองหวาย จังหวัดขอนแก่น (Opinions of Farmers Toward Agricultural Development in Nongwai Irrigation Project Area, Changwat Khon Kaen)

Abstract

This research was aimed to study the farmer’s opinions on agricultural development in Nongwai irrigation project area, Changwat Khon Kaen. Research data were gathered by interviewing 154 farmers and by multi-stage method. Research data were collected in February 2011, statistically analyzed and expressed through frequency, percentage, arithmetic means, minimum, maximum, and standard deviation. Comparison of farmer’s opinions was undergone by t-test and F-test. Results showed that farmer’s opinions on agricultural development in irrigation area were separated total 30 items in the 4 aspects: (1) to increase efficiency of agricultural production in 18 items, (2) to develop forceful of farmer and farmer organization in 5 items, (3) to promote and support marketing in 4 items, and (4) to promote and support the using existing resources toward maximum efficiency in 3 items. Farmer’s opinions were the moderate appropriate level in 26 items and very appropriate level in 4 items. When comparing the farmer’s opinions on agricultural development in irrigation project area by sex, age, size of all holding agricultural land area, and participation in group training, significant differences were detected in some items.
