ระบบการผลิตโคนมของเกษตรกรรายย่อยภายใต้การสนับสนุนที่ต่างกันในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน (Dairy production system of small holders under different promotions in Upper Northeast Thailand)

Abstract

The aim of this study was to compare systems of dairy production by small dairy holder groups supported by the different organizations; Sritat Dairy Cooperative group, Udon Thani province and Warichaphum Dairy Cooperative group, Sakon Nakon province. Quantitative data from questionnaire were compiled into percentiles and means while qualitative data from semi-structure interview and observation were compiled for content analysis. The two groups were different in terms of nature of landscape, spreading of farm locations, land use for agricultural activities and dairy raising. The differences resulted in different of administrative organization structure and cooperative activities. Dairy farm management between the two groups was mostly similar. Both groups has been relying on assistance from supporting organization. However, Warichaphum Dairy Cooperative group which had no direct supporting organization could expand more membership, managing the cooperative and market in a more self-reliable fashion.
