The Effect of Mathematic Camp on Developing Mathematics Achievement and Emotional Intelligence on Self Motivation of Mathayom Suksa 6 Students of Khammuang School Changwat Kalasin

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาผลของการใช้กิจกรรมค่ายคณิตศาสตร์ เพื่อพัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน วิชาคณิตศาสตร์ และความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ด้านการจูงใจตนเอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนคำม่วง จังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ ปีการศึกษา 2548 ที่มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์และมีความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ด้านการจูงใจตนเองต่ำ ศึกษาเชิงทดลองภาคสนาม แบบแผนการทดลองแบบ ONE-GROUP PRETEST-POSTTEST DESIGN เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นชุดกิจกรรมค่ายคณิตศาสตร์ แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง ความน่าจะเป็น และแบบทดสอบวัดความฉลาด ทางอารมณ์ด้านการจูงใจตนเอง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ t-test แบบ Dependent Sample ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ชุดกิจกรรมค่ายคณิตศาสตร์ ที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีประสิทธิภาพ 86.47/83.96 เมื่อนำไปใช้กับกลุ่มทดลอง พบว่า นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องความน่าจะเป็น และมีความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ด้านการจูงใจตนเอง หลังเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมค่ายคณิตศาสตร์สูงกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมค่ายคณิตศาสตร์ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 

The purpose of this research were to study the effect of mathematic camp on developing mathematics achievement and emotional intelligence on self motivation of Mathayom Suksa 6 students of Khammuang school Changwat Kalasin. The subjects were purposive selected from Mathayom Suksa 6 students in 2005 who received grade 0 to 1 in mathematics from the previous semester and their emotional intelligence were low. The experimentation was conducted through the package of mathematics camp by One-Group Pretest- Posttest Design. Mathematics achievement test and emotional intelligence scale on Self Motivation were used to collect data before and after attending mathematic camp. The results found that the efficiency of the mathematic camp package was 86.47/83.96. When applied to the target experimental group,it was found that mathematics achievement and emotional intelligence on self motivation of the experimental group after attending mathematic camp was .01 level of significance statistically higher than before attending.
