Prevalence and Behaviors of Alcohol Beverage Consumption of High School Students in Sichomphu District, Khonkaen Province Education Service Area Office 5, Khonkaen Province

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวาง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินความชุกและศึกษาพฤติกรรมการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ในนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย อำเภอสีชมพู จังหวัดขอนแก่น จำนวน 280 คน เก็บข้อมูลระหว่างเดือน มกราคม ถึง เดือนมีนาคม 2549 โดยใช้แบบสอบถามและการสัมภาษณ์ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า นักเรียนดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ ร้อยละ 68.57 นักเรียนที่ดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์เป็นนักเรียนชาย ร้อยละ 39.29 นักเรียนหญิง ร้อยละ 29.28 นักเรียนที่ดื่มอยู่ในเขตเทศบาล ร้อยละ 71.71 นอกเขตเทศบาล ร้อยละ 64.84 นักเรียนดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ครั้งแรกอายุเฉลี่ย 14.8 ปี (ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน 1.37) สาเหตุที่ดื่มอันดับแรก คือ อยากลอง ร้อยละ 84.89 เครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ที่ชอบดื่มมากที่สุด คือ เบียร์ ร้อยละ 82.81 สาเหตุที่ยังคงดื่มในปัจจุบัน เพื่อคลายเครียด/ลดความวิตกกังวล ร้อยละ 67.71 ความถี่ของการดื่มส่วนใหญ่ดื่มบ้างเป็นบางครั้ง ไม่เกิน 1 ครั้ง ต่อสัปดาห์ ร้อยละ 36.98 โอกาสในการดื่มส่วนใหญ่ คือ งานเลี้ยงสังสรรค์ระหว่างเพื่อน ร้อยละ 85.94 และ เทศกาลงานต่างๆ ร้อยละ 85.94 นักเรียนใช้สารเสพติดร่วมกับการดื่ม ร้อยละ 34.90 สารเสพติดที่ใช้ส่วนใหญ่ คือ บุหรี่ ร้อยละ 34.37 นักเรียนดื่มแอลกอฮอล์มีการทะเลาะวิวาท ร้อยละ 29.17 ขับขี่ยานพาหนะแล้วเกิดอุบัติเหตุ ร้อยละ 22.92 และ มีพฤติกรรมทางเพศ (เพศสัมพันธ์) ร้อยละ 22.92 

This thesis is a cross-sectional descriptive study has purposed to study the prevalence and
behaviors in high school students alcohol drinking. Two hundred and eighty student of high school in
Sichomphu District Khon Kaen Province. The period of data collection was done from January to March
2006 by using questionnaire and interviewing. The results of case study indicated that 68.57 % of total

students were alcohol drinkers. By gender, 39.29 % of the males were drinkers, while only 29.28 % of female were drinkers. The students consumed alcohol who live in municipal area were 71.71 % whereas live in non-municipal area were 64.84 %. The average age of students who have the first time drinking alcohol was 14.8 years old (SD = 1.37). The main reason why students drank alcohol was students wanted to try by 84.89 %. The most favorite alcohol beverage for students is beer by 82.81 %. The main reason students were still drinking because of resting and relaxing by 67.71 %. The frequency of studentsû drinking was appeared not over once a week by 36.98 %. Occasion students would drink with friends in parties by 85.94 % and in festivals by 85.94 %. Students took drugs while drinking was 34.90 %. Cigarette was mostly used by 34.37 %. Students who were drinking alcohol would have brawl by 29.17 %, accident happened because students drunk and drove by 22.92 % and would have sexual behaviors by 22.92 %.
