An Investigation of 1st Grade Studentsû Conceptual Understanding on Addition and Subtraction of Natural Numbers(การศึกษาความเข้าใจเชิงมโนมติเกี่ยวกับการบวกและการลบจำนวนนับของนักเรียน ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1)

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ระดับความเข้าใจเชิงมโนมติเกี่ยวกับการบวกและการลบจำนวนนับของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่ไม่เคยเรียนเรื่องการบวกและการลบในระบบโรงเรียนมาก่อน จำนวน 6 คน แบ่งออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม กลุ่มละ 3 คน ทำกิจกรรมเกี่ยวกับการบวกและการลบในบริบทนอกห้องเรียน 8 กิจกรรม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) นักเรียนมีความเข้าใจในระดับการจัดกระทำในเรื่องการบวก คือ นักเรียนสามารถหาผลบวกของจำนวนสองจำนวนโดยใช้วิธีการนับทุกจำนวน, การนับสองครั้ง ในเรื่องการลบ คือ นักเรียนสามารถหาผลลบของจำนวนสองจำนวนโดยใช้วิธีการนับออก 2) นักเรียนมีความเข้าใจในระดับวิธีการในเรื่องการบวก คือ นักเรียนสามารถหาผลบวกของจำนวนสองจำนวนโดยใช้วิธีการนับต่อจากจำนวนแรก, การนับต่อจากจำนวนที่มากกว่า, การนำข้อเท็จจริงที่รู้มาใช้, ข้อเท็จจริงที่รู้ ในเรื่องการลบ คือ นักเรียนสามารถหาผลลบของจำนวนสองจำนวนโดยใช้วิธีการนับเพิ่มจากตัวลบ, การนำข้อเท็จจริงที่รู้มาใช้, ข้อเท็จจริงที่รู้The purpose of the present research was to analyse of 1st grade studentsû conceptual understanding on addition and subtraction of natural numbers. They have not ever studied the topic of addition and subtraction in their school. The students were organized into 2 groups of 3 students each. They worked on 8 addition and subtraction activities outside the classroom. The finding showed the studentsíconceptual understanding on addition and subtraction as following: 1) Students have action conceptual understanding on addition which is described as they can find the sum of two numbers by using count-all and count-both procedure. For subtracting, they can find the subtraction between two numbers by using the procedure of take-away. 2) Students have process conceptual understanding on addition which is described as they can find the sum of two numbers by using the procedure of count-on, count-on from larger, derived fact and known fact. For subtracting, they can find the subtraction between two numbers by using the procedure of count-up, derived fact and known fact.
