The Participation in Waste Management of People at Waeng Yai Municipality Waeng Yai District Khon Kaen Province

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study organizational support and critical success factors affecting the participation in waste management of people at Waeng Yai municipality in Waeng Yai district, Khon Kaen province, Thailand. 207 personnel were randomly selected as samples by stratified random sampling techniques from 1,734 populations. Data was collected by questionnaires for the quantitative data and In-Depth interview guidelines for the qualitative data gathering. The questionnaire was checked by 3 experts and all items of IOC more than 0.50 including the reliability by Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient was 0.96 and 12 key informants were In-Depth Interview. Data analysis was performed by descriptive and inferential statistics as significant level at 0.05. The results showed that the overall of organizational support, critical success factors and the participation in waste management of people were at high level. Three factors composed of the critical success factors; implementation in areas that are readily had affective and perception and urge to participation including the organizational support; man were affecting and could joint predict the participation in waste management of people at Waeng Yai municipality in Waeng Yai district, Khon Kaen province at 52.6 percentage. (R2 = 0.526, p-value < 0.001)
