Key Success Factors and Organizational Support Affecting the Food Sanitation Performance of Public Health Officers in Local Government Organization Khon Kaen Province

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study key success factors and organizational support affecting the food sanitation performance of public health officers at local government organizations in Khon Kaen province, Thailand. 160 samples were randomly selected by stratified random sampling from 223 populations. Data was collected by the questionnaire for quantitative data and used the in-depth interviews guidelines to collect the qualitative data from 12 key informants. Questionnaire that were examined and verified for content validity by three experts, the items objective congruence (IOC) were more than 0.50 of all items, and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.98. Data was performed by descriptive and inferential statistics with a significant level of 0.05. The research results showed that the overall level of key success factors, organizational support, and the food sanitation performance were at a moderate level. The three variables of organizational support; budget, man power, and management affected and could jointly predict the food sanitation performance of public health officers at local organizations in Khon Kaen province at 86.7 percent (R2 = 0.867, p-value < 0.001).
