Survival Rates of Stage IV Colorectal Cancer Patients in Srinagarind Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study the survival rates of patients with stage 4 colon and rectal cancer and to compare the survival rates of patients after treatment classified by demographic characteristics, disease characteristics, and treatment methods. This study is a retrospective analytical study. (Retrospective cohort study) The study results found that the survival rates after diagnosis at 1, 2, 3 and 4 years were 25.5 (95% CI; 20.36-31.47), 9.2 (95% CI; 6.12-13.62), 11.2 (95% CI; 7.84- 16.01) and 7.5 (95% CI; 7.49-15.54).
