Content validity was 0.84. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Chi-Square Test, Fischer exact test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Wilcoxon signed rank test. Anxiety Score before and after the experiment in the experimental group By the statistical method, It was concluded that the experimental group had lower anxiety scores than before the experiment. There was a difference at the 0.05 level and anxiety scores after the investigation between the experimental group and the control group by statistical method. Recommendations should support the implementation of the readiness program. To be used as a nursing care line in both the ophthalmic ward and the ophthalmic outpatient, there should be more research on the preoperative preparation program for the elderly with other eye problems, such as glaucoma surgery. Blocked tear ducts eyelid surgery Retinal degeneration surgery, etc., by developing a program format to be modern and suitable for use by the elderly.
