Abstract

The study aims to compare the linear thermal transmittance of precast concrete wall connection in residential buildings, both insulated and non-insulated conditions, using Physibel-SOLIDO in accordance with ISO 10211. The insulation case decreased linear thermal transmittance by 9.46% and total heat transfer reduction by 4.76%. Furthermore, insulation reduced heat accumulation at connection and stabilized interior temperature, significantly enhancing energy efficiency for buildings in tropical regions.
