Abstract

A study psychological traits and social support for physical and mental health behavior of elderly civil official in Khon Kaen University. It was found that psychological traits included future orientation, buddhist belief , internal locus of control in health, and attitude towards health care had effected physical and mental health behavior. Social support included Social support from family had affected physical and mental health behavior. Major predictive variables for physical and mental health behavior included attitude toward s health care, buddhist belief, and internal locus of control in health. Which can predict for 49 .02% of the whole population group.

การศึกษาจิตลักษณะและการสนับสนุนทางสังคมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพฤติกรรมสุขภาพจิตของข้าราชการสูงอายุในมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น พบว่า จิตลักษณะ ได้แก่ ลักษณะมุ่งอนาคตควบคุมตน ความเชื่อทางพุทธศาสนา ความเชื่ออำนาจในตนด้านสุขภาพ และเจตคติต่อการรักษาสุขภาพ มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมสุขภาพการและพฤติกรรมสุขภาพจิต การสนับสนุนทางสังคม ได้แก่ การสนับสนุนทางสังคม จากครอบครัว มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมสุขภาพกายและพฤติกรรมสุขภาพจิต และตัวแปรทำนานสำคัญของพฤติกรรมสุขภาพกายและพฤติกรรมสุขภาพจิต ได้แก่ เจตคติต่อการรักษาสุขภาพ ความเชื่อทางพุทธศาสนา และความเชื่ออำนาจในตนด้านสุขภาพโดยทำนายได้ร้อยละ 49.02
