The mortar mix proportions with constant 10% of SF as a partial cement replacement was used. Then, the use of CE in amounts of 5, 10, 15, and 20% mixed with SF as a partial replacement of cement by weight of the cementitious material. Water to binder ratio (W/B) with constant of 0.50 was used. Superplasticizer (SP) was used to improve the workability of mortar. Test results found that the use of CE in amounts of 5, 10, 15, and 20% mixed with SF as a partial replacement of cement by weight of the cementitious material resulted in higher compressive strength when compared to control mortar (CT), as well as mortar mixed with SF in amounts of 10% by weight of the cementitious material. The ground ceramic electrical insulator can be used as a cementitious material. The results of this research are a reduction in the amount of waste materials, reduce the burden of disposal and reduce environmental problems.
Atiwat Viengsam Sumrerng Rukzon Copyright (c) 2025 KKU Research Journal (Graduate Studies) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-04-17 2025-04-17 25 1 1 10 Compressive Strength, Porosity and Water Absorption of Mortar with Ternary Blend Cementitious System of Ordinary Portland Cement, Silica Fume and Ground Basalt Rubble https://ph02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/gskku/article/view/254990
This research presents a study of the compressive strength, porosity and water absorption of mortar with ternary blend cementitious system of ordinary Portland cement (OPC), silica fume (SF) and ground basalt rubble (BD). In this research, SF was used to replace OPC at a constant rate of 10% by weight of binder. Additionally, a consistent 10% rate of SF was mixed with BD at rates of 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30% by weight of binder. Water to binder ratio (W/B) with constant of 0.45 was used. Superplasticizer (SP) was used to improve the workability of mortar. Test results showed that using SF at 10% mixed with BD at rates of 10, 15, and 20% by weight of binder results in greater compressive strength, reduced porosity, and water absorption as compared to control mortar (CT).The ground basalt rubble can be developed as a new cementitious material in construction work. This study's findings can result in a reduction in both the amount of waste materials produced and the disposal burden.
Witsawa Laoseng Sumrerng Rukzon Copyright (c) 2025 KKU Research Journal (Graduate Studies) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-04-17 2025-04-17 25 1 11 21 Analysis Data Component in Daily Reports to Pursue the Progress of Public Construction Sector Projects in Thailand https://ph02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/gskku/article/view/253278
Daily report data from Thailand's public construction sector has complicated or revealed significant issues for work that require specific qualities to be stored, as well as reporting issues with unclear information. The studied rCFRPs were placed on top of a filter plate (with rectangular holes) and vibrated for fiber alignment. The rCFRPs were then mixed with the matrix material (Polypropylene) at different ratios (25/75, 20/80, and 15/85) by heating. The alignments of fibers in the mixed polymers were analyzed by using image processing software. Tensile testing of fibers at 0°, 45°, 90° to the pulled direction was conducted to evaluate the mechanical properties. The results showed that a 90° orientation and a fiber-to-polymer ratio of 20/80 provided the highest tensile strength values.
Norasak Sikkha Numpon Mahayotsanun Sedthawatt Sucharitpwatskul Pongsak Tuengsook Copyright (c) 2025 KKU Research Journal (Graduate Studies) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-04-17 2025-04-17 25 1 36 51 Improving the Efficiency of Machinery in the Glass Bottle Beverage Production Process Through Autonomous Maintenance https://ph02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/gskku/article/view/252916
This research aims to enhance the overall efficiency of machinery in the beverage bottling process of a particular glass bottle packaging plant. The ratio of three main ingredients (foxtail millet 15-20%, pumpkin seeds 25-30%, and oats 45-60%) was investigated using a mixture design approach to evaluate their impact on the physical, chemical, and sensory properties of the snack bars. The results revealed that increasing the amount of foxtail millet and pumpkin seeds led to higher protein and fat content but lower lightness (L*) and hardness values. On the other hand, increasing oat resulted in lower moisture content and aw value but higher acceptability scores. Therefore, the optimal formulation for producing snack bars consisted of 20% foxtail millet, 27.50% pumpkin seeds, and 52.50% oats. This formulation had an aw of 0.35, lightness (L*) of 46.35, and hardness of 30.15 N. The moisture, protein, fat, ash, crude fiber, and carbohydrate contents were 7.57%, 31.09%, 19.24%, 3.06%, 2.36%, and 36.68%, respectively. The developed snack bars (100 g per serving) provided 509 kcal, making them a healthy snack alternative that can replace a meal and is high in protein (31.09 g) according to the Ministry of Public Health Announcement (No. 445). Additionally, the acceptability scores for all attributes were within the range of “Like slightly” to “Like moderately”.
Parisut Chalermchaiwat Parichart Sodsrithong Matchima Somboonpon Pandaree Sirichai Amphai Promnaret Copyright (c) 2025 KKU Research Journal (Graduate Studies) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-04-17 2025-04-17 25 1 186 198 Editorial Note https://ph02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/gskku/article/view/258801
วารสารวิจัย มข.
