<p>Antigens in the ABO blood group system, besides being expressed on the surface of red blood cells, it is also expressed on other cell surfaces such as white blood cells, gastrointestinal epithelium cells, and platelets. From previous studies, it has been found that the expression on these cell surfaces affects various diseases, including infectious diseases and chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs) as well, resulting in the rate of various diseases in each blood type being unequal. From searching and collecting many research papers from various databases, it was found that people with blood type A and blood type O have a greater risk of infection with the Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SAR-CoV2) that causes COVID-19 than people with other blood types, while in chronic non-communicable diseases it was found that people with the O blood type have a greater a risk of developing diseases such as high blood pressure coronary heart disease less than people with other blood types. There are also studies that have found that the ABO blood type affects the behavior of food choices. This may be another reason for the occurrence of various diseases as well. <p>Lung cancer is a prominent cause of cancer-related mortality globally, with increasing incidence and mortality rates in Thailand. This review delves into the epidemiology and risk factors associated with Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) and Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) in Thailand. In 2021, lung cancer accounted for 17.9% of all cancer-related deaths, with a rising trend in incidence observed between 2012 and 2022. SCLC, characterized by its aggressive nature, constituted 4.5% of all lung cancer cases in Thailand between 2016 and 2021. Notably fatal, SCLC exhibited a higher mortality rate than NSCLC, with distinct survival rates in limited and extensive stages. NSCLC, comprising various subtypes, dominated the lung cancer landscape in Thailand, with adenocarcinoma being the most prevalent.</p> <p>The review emphasizes smoking as a primary risk factor for lung cancer, despite a decline in smoking prevalence. Radon exposure, especially in upper-northern Thailand, emerges as a significant contributor to lung cancer incidence, with a notable proportion of deaths linked to indoor radon exposure. Additionally, air pollution, characterized by PM 2.5 and other pollutants, is implicated in lung cancer development, mirroring global trends.</p> <p>This comprehensive review underscores the critical need for targeted interventions to address the rising burden of lung cancer in Thailand. Efforts should focus on smoking cessation programs, radon exposure mitigation, and air quality improvement to curb the escalating rates of lung cancer and enhance public health outcomes. <p>This study aims to develop a mobile application for attraction recommendations in Buriram Province and to study user satisfaction with the application. The attraction recommendation feature uses a content-based filtering technique based on the interests of target tourists. The application was developed using Android Studio, Ionic Framework, Angular Framework, Node.js, and the MySQL database management system.</p> <p>The results showed that the application can recommend attractions according to the interests of tourists, including ranking the places by distance from the user's current location. The application also has functions to search for nearby attractions, display details of the places, and navigate to the attractions with Google Maps. In addition, users can sign up via both Facebook and Google accounts. From the study of the satisfaction of 40 users using a satisfaction questionnaire with a 5-level rating scale, it was found that the overall satisfaction was at the highest level (𝑥̅ = 4.26, S.D. = 0.62). This research result indicates that the developed application can effectively meet the needs of tourists, reduce the time spent searching for information, and increase satisfaction in choosing tourist attractions.</p>Chusak YathongchaiWilairat Yathongchai Komut Srisawat

<p>This research delves into the critical aspects of quality improvement and logistics system in the lump rubber industry, focusing on the Kut Chap District of Udonthani Province. The rubber sector plays a pivotal role in various automotive, construction, and manufacturing industries, underscoring the significance of efficient logistics and quality assurance practices. This study emphasizes the SWOT and SCOR model for continuous improvement in quality development and logistics to drive operational efficiency and competitiveness in the rubber sector. The implementation of ECRS principles led to enhanced efficiency and reduced waste in the manufacturing of lump rubber. This was achieved by streamlining work processes, resulting in a 33% reduction in the number of stages and increased overall quality. The truck, which has a diesel tank capacity of 10.5 liters, releases 27.05 kgCO<sub>2</sub>e of greenhouse gases per vehicle. This emission is measured to evaluate the capability and readiness of rubber plantations. <p>This study aims to investigate the relationship between monthly rainfall and the number of monthly Dengue Fever (DF) cases in Kalasin Province and to develop a model to forecast the number of monthly DF cases in 2024. Monthly Rainfall volume was collected from the Meteorological Department report. The monthly number of DF cases was collected from the 506 Dengue fever reporting system and database of Bureu of Epidemiology. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Spearman rank correlation, and the Box and Jenkins methods. The results showed a moderate relationship between monthly rainfall and the number of monthly DF cases in Kalasin Province, with a Spearman rank correlation coefficient of 0.52 (p-value < 0.001). The seasonal ARIMA(1,1,0)(2,1,1)12 model used for forecasting the number of monthly dengue fever cases in 2024 demonstrated reasonable accuracy. The monthly dengue cases forecast values are higher than the past 6 years monthly average, except that July and August are lower, which are the ends of the rainy season. Therefore, it would be more appropriate for July and August to use the monthly average during these two months instead in determining the epidemic prevention plan for 2024.</p>Pensri Hongpanich Vadhana Jayathavaj

<p>This research aimed to produce the edible film from cellulose of 3 cultivars of corn cob, i.e., white sweet corn, yellow sweet corn, and purple sweet corn (KPSC 903), The experiment was study the most appropriate cultivars of corn cob to produce the edible film for coating apples with different ratios of 1:1 and 2:1. The results indicated that the purple sweet corn cob was the most appropriate with the highest sensory scores of 6.90. The study of the appropriate quantity of cellulose to protect apple with different percentage at 0, 5 and 10 respectively, were storage at 4°C and 30°C. It was found that the coated apples with 5 percent of cellulose got the highest overall liking score at 7.50. The shelf-life of coated apples with 3 ratios of cellulose were also studied during storage for 3 weeks. It showed that the coated apples with 5 percent of cellulose at 4°C could maintain the nutrition of apple by measuring the Total Soluble Solid (TSS) it got the highest value at 17.97 °Brix; and either protected color which had the highest <em>a</em>* value of 22.25. Moreover, it reduced dehydration during storage with the highest firmness value of 7.47 Kg (peeled apple) at 4°C, and 7.33 Kg (unpeeled apple) at 30°C. which was caused the coated apple got lowest weight loss at 0.17 g and obtained the highest sensory score at 8.</p>Sukkhown Sukkhown Kungsadarn Mupattararot

<p>This research investigates the total phenolic content and antioxidant activity of the herbal plant <em>Asparagus racemosus</em> willd (Raksamsib) extracts which using different solvents from Sakon Nakhon, Chaiyaphum, and Phetchabun provinces. The total phenolic content was tested by the Folin-Ciocalteu method, and the antioxidant activity was tested by the DPPH radical scavenging assay. The results showed that the total phenolic content from Phetchabun extracted with methanol was the highest, which measured 180.63±2.39 mg GAE/g, followed by the methanol extract from Sakon Nakhon, which measured 163.38±2.48 mg GAE/g. The lowest phenolic content was found in the 95% ethanol extract from Sakon Nakhon, which measured 62.47±2.00 mg GAE/g. As for the antioxidant activity test, the 95% ethanol extract from Sakon Nakhon exhibited the best antioxidant activity with IC<sub>50</sub> of DPPH at 0.16 µg/g extract, followed by the methanol extract from Sakon Nakhon with an IC<sub>50 </sub>of DPPH at 0.19 µg/g extract. </p>Pacharamon SoncharoenKamonwan Jongitt

<p>This paper presents the potential of generating electricity with rooftop solar energy and conserving energy by changing the equipment of Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University by surveying energy use in Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University. Information regarding building space was collected, including several air conditioning equipment, several lighting equipment, and information on electrical energy usage of Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University. Then the potential for rooftop solar installations, energy saving potential in lighting systems, and energy saving potential of air conditioning systems proceeded.</p> <p> As a results, it was found that it was possible to reduce the overall energy cost burden by more than 48.60% from the energy cost compared to before changing the system to the LED system with Built-in IoT. This resulted in reducing 90% energy consumption and 37.50% reduced energy use of Inverter Air Conditioner. Electricity production from solar energy installed on the roof can be designed with a maximum power generation capacity of approximately 450 kWp, resulting in electrical energy savings of 668,172.59 kWh, equivalent to an amount saved of 3,006,766.66 bath/year.</p>Worachate SangsidaSuprattra BudsaereechaiSukanya Hongthong Wiparat Nisapai

<p>This research aimed to study the mixing ratios of alumina and silica on physical properties of ancient glaze for ceramic products. The experiment started with the Seger formula containing primary groups of 0.27-mole Feldspar (KNaO·Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>·6SiO<sub>2</sub>), 0.41mole Calcium carbonate (CaCO<sub>3</sub>), 0.16mole Magnesium carbonate (MgCO<sub>3</sub>) and 0.16-mole Zinc oxide (ZnO), the media group of 0.48 – 0.52mole Aluminum oxide (Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>) and acid group of 2.8 – 3.6 mole Silicon dioxide (SiO<sub>2</sub>). The glaze was used in ground forms (ground for 4 hours) as an additive in the Seger formula for firing at <br />1200 °C. The first step's firing condition is neutral firing to an oxidation atmosphere to maximum temperature and soaking at the highest temperature for 15 minutes. <br />The appearance of ancient glaze in formulas 1, 2, and 6 has a clear texture, good melting, flow less, and no cracking. <p>The objective of this study was to study firing temperatures on the physical properties of copper red glazes for ceramic products. The experiment started with the Seger formula containing basic groups of 0.2mole Feldspar (K<sub>2</sub>O×Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>×6SiO<sub>2</sub>), 0.1mole Calcium carbonate (CaCO<sub>3</sub>), 0.1mole Barium carbonate (BaO) and 0.6-mole Zinc oxide (ZnO), the media group of 0.25 – 0.40mole Aluminum oxide (Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>) and an acid group of 2.0 – 4.0 mole Silicon dioxide (SiO<sub>2</sub>), coloring agent 0.3% copper carbonate (CuCO<sub>3</sub>) and 6%Tin oxide (SnO<sub>2</sub>). The copper red glaze was used in ground forms (ground for 4 hours) as an additive in the Seger formula for firing at 1250 and 1280°C. The firing condition in the reduction atmosphere can be divided into two parts. In the first part, the firing condition and atmosphere appear red color. A suitable firing condition for copper red glazes was a reduction from 950°C to 1250°C, reduction to natural firing to maximum temperature, and soaking at the highest temperature for 15 minutes. <br />The second part of the firing condition for copper red glazes was a reduction from 950°C to 1280°C, reduction to natural firing to maximum temperature, and soaking at the highest temperature for 15 minutes. The appearance of copper red glaze in formula 1 and 16 red colors, good melting, flow less, and not cracking, the glaze formula can be applied to the reduction firing process in an automatic kiln.</p>Soravich Mulinta
