The morphological study involved leaves, fruits, and stems of both avocado varieties, with five specimens from each variety. Then, measure diameter ant breast height and height of each sampling in 20x40 square meters temporary quadrat. Above ground biomass was calculated using allometric equations. Avocado specimens were collected to be analyzed for carbon constant and calculate back to find carbon stock in avocado mass per area. The results indicate the differences between each variety. The Buccania variety had simple fruits with smooth skin with an average fruit weight of 305 g. The ripe fruits were green and had elliptical leaves with acute leaf tip. The gaps between petioles at the tip of branch were close and frequent. The Furte variety also had simple fruits with smooth skin. The ripe fruits of Furte variety were purple and had a greater average weight than those of Buccania where the leaves were also elliptical and acute leaf tip but the gaps between petioles at the tip of branch were widely spaced. The comparison of carbon constant between both varieties revealed that Buccania variety had a lower value of carbon constant than Furte variety but the mean total carbon stock in above ground biomass per area of Buccania variety were higher than Furte variety. The results indicated that the plantation of avocados especially Buccania variety provides more ability in enhancing carbon sink and the carbon storage in biomass. Thus, planting of avocado varieties should be promoted as an effective carbon storage site.
Puangpaka Kaewkrom, Nopparit Waiwong, Surangrat Punsaeng Copyright (c) 2025 SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH JOURNAL NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ https://ph02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/sciencenrrujournal/article/view/256783 Sun, 29 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 The Development of Digital Innovations for Elderly Care based on the Principles of 4 E. The 9 Short Mackerel samples were collected once a month. The average weight of the Short Mackerel was 70.96±9.71 g, while its length was 18.31±0.72 cm. The parasites were found in all 36 fish samples (100%). Two groups of internal helminth parasites were found in the alimentary tract of Short Mackerel, which consisted of the lava of Anisakid nematode and 3 digenetic trematodes that were Lecithocladium sp., Opechona sp., andProdistomum sp. Overall the prevalence of parasites in each month was 100 %, with the highest mean intensity occurring in January, followed by October, December, and November. The values for these months were 99.89, 75.89, 63.56, and 44.89 parasites per fish, respectively. A total of 19 fish were found to be infected with two groups of parasites, while 17 fish were infected with only trematode parasites. This represents a prevalence value of 52.78 % and 42.22%, respectively. The mean intensity of the Anisakid nematode and trematode parasites was 2.16 parasites per fish, while the mean intensity of trematode parasites was 148 parasites per fish. Parasite infections in fish can cause weakness and hinder their growth.
Nutcharin Kleawkla, Phueksachat Charoenchit, Sureeporn Thummikkaphong Copyright (c) 2025 SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH JOURNAL NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ https://ph02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/sciencenrrujournal/article/view/256796 Tue, 01 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Floating in Water for Survival in Children and Adolescents https://ph02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/sciencenrrujournal/article/view/257780
The purpose of this academic article is to present floating in water as a survival technique for children and adolescents who cannot swim. Learning how to float is a fundamental aspect of drowning prevention. Developing floating skills requires scientific support to understand the mechanisms involved with the body in water buoyancy. Factors affecting buoyancy include : 1) bone density 2) muscle fat content and 3) lung capacity. Floating in water is a crucial survival skill for preventing drowning and minimizing water-related dangers, especially for beginners in swimming. It helps individuals survive without exerting much energy, allowing learners to quickly develop basic skills.

Floating techniques include : 1) the dog paddle float 2) the back starfish position 3) the jellyfish float 4) the Chinese ghost position 5) the needlefish float and 6) the nun float. These floating survival techniques should be incorporated into the development of teaching strategies and serve as valuable information for instructors, teachers, and swim coaches to assist children and adolescents in learning water survival skills and survival from various unsafe water situations.
Somyot Bonoy, Kijsarun Chanpo Copyright (c) 2025 SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH JOURNAL NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ https://ph02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/sciencenrrujournal/article/view/257780 Sun, 29 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700
