Abstract

Nine different configurations for uniformly loaded square plate with mixed boundary conditions between simply supported and free edges are proposed in the present investigation. Results for the plate deflection distribution along the middle line, along the diagonal line, and along the free edge can be determined numeri-cally using the finite element software package named ANSYS. The obtained results are demonstrated graphi-cally and also given numerically in tabular form for easy reference.
