Job Satisfaction of KMUTT Supporting Staff

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to survey the job satisfaction of the KMUTT supporting staff andto distribute their job satisfaction varied with age, gender, marital status, level of education, workexperience and types of staff
The population of this research were 460 KMUTT supporting staff in fiscal year 2003. Theresearch instrument was the questionnaire developed by researcher with reliability of 0.90. The statisticsused were means, standard deviation and percentage. A total of 312 responses (67.82%) were analyzed
The research findings were as follows :
1. As a whole, the job satisfaction of supporting staffs were at high level ( x = 2.72). Moreover, theirjob satisfaction was at high level on achievement, recognition, job description, responsibility, policy andadministration, interpersonal relation, work environment and job security with x = 3.09, 2.69, 2.84, 2.80,2.82, 2.85, and 2.57, respectively. They were low satisfaction with career advancement and remunerationwith x = 2.27 and 2.42, respectively.
2. From the distribution of job satisfaction of supporting staffs varied with age, gender, maritalstatus, level of education, work experience, and types of staff, it revealed that their high and highestsatisfaction on achievement, recognition, job description, responsibility, policy and administration,interpersonal relation, work environment, job security, career advancement, and remuneration weredifference.
