Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study leadership soft skills and organizational climate affecting the performance of dentists at community hospitals in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand. The samples were 112 dentists randomly selected by simple random sampling from the 137 populations and 12 key informants were in focus group for qualitative data gathering. This study was collecting both quantitative and qualitative data. The Questionnaire was examined and verified by the three experts for content validily item objective congruence (IOC), all items above 0.50 and tested for reliability in samples pilot study (Cronbach’s alpha coefficient=0.97). Data distribution was performed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that leadership soft skills; coaching, organizational climate; standard and leadership soft skills; leadership ability could predict the performance of dentists at community hospitals at 54.1 percentage (R2= 0.541, p-value <0.001).
