Organizational Climate Affecting to Quality of Working Life of Dental Health Technician at Sub-District Health Promoting Hospitals in Sakon Nakhon Province

Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study personal characteristics and organizational climate affecting to quality of working life of dental health technician at sub-district health promoting hospitals in Sakon Nakhon Province. The population were 69 dental technicians. Data was collected by questionnaires. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was at 0.96, organizational climate was at 0.95 and quality of working life was at 0.92 and 12 key informants were in focus group for qualitative data gathering. Data distribution was performed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics include Pearson’s product moment correlation and Stepwise multiple linear regressions were also utilized. The result showed that the trained personnel was low level relationship with the working life of dental health technician at sub-district health promoting hospitals (r = 0.257, p-value =0.033) Organizational climate factors; reward; conflict; Identity, these three factors could predict working life of dental health technician at sub-district health promoting hospitals at 68.7 percentage (R2=0.687, p-value<0.001)
