ผลของโปรแกรมการส่งเสริมสุขภาพโดยประยุกต์ใช้แบบแผน ความเชื่อด้านสุขภาพ ร่วมกับแรงสนับสนุนทางสังคม ในการปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมเพื่อควบคุมน้ำหนักของนักเรียน ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่มีน้ำหนักเกินเกณฑ์ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพิษณุโลก The Effects of Health Promo
Obesity is the risk factor of non communicable disease especially cardiovascular disease which it is cause of high death rate. In addition, the obese children risk to difficulty breathing, fracture of bone, hypertension, and insulin resistance . This quasi – experimental study aimed to investigate the effects of health promotion program by application of health belief model and social support on behavioral modification for weight control among overweight students at level 5 of primary school, Muang District, Phitsanulok Province. The subjects were 60 level 5 of primary school students that divided to be an experimental group and a comparison group, each group were 30 students. The duration time was intervened 10 weeks. The experimental group was received health promotion program and composed of different activities such as lecture with about obesity, demonstration and practice, modeling, group discussion, role play, stimulation and emotional support. Data were collected by questionnaires. The descriptive data were analyzed by descriptive statistics such as frequency distribution, proportions, mean, standard deviation, and min-max values. Paired t-test and independent t-test were used for variables comparision. Statistical significance was set at p<0.05.
The results showed that after implemention, the experimental group had mean scores significantly higher than before as followed :- knowledge about obesity, perception about severity of obesity, perception about benefit of weight control, appropriate eating, practice, perception about risk to obesity and exercise regularly (p < 0.001,0.01).
