Critical Success Factors and Organizational Climate Affecting the Quality of Working Life of Public Health Technical Officers at Sub-District Health Promoting Hospitals in Sakon Nakhon Province

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study critical success factors and organizational climate affecting the quality of working life of public health technical officers at sub-district health promoting hospitals in Sakon Nakhon province, Thailand. The samples were 101 public health technical officers that randomly selected by systematic random sampling from the 399 populations. Data was collected by questionnaire for the quantitative data from the targets and the In-depth interviewed guidelines for the qualitative data gathering from 12 key informants. The questionnaire was checked by 3 experts and all items of IOC more than 0.50 including the reliability from the total of questionnaire by Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient was 0.95 Data was collected between 1thJuly 2019 to 31th May 2020. Data analysis was performed by descriptive and inferential statistics The results showed that the overall of critical success factors organizational climate and the quality of working life of public health technical officers were at high level 4.10 (S.D.=0.44), 4.00 (S.D.=0.42) and 4.00 (S.D.=0.42) respectively. The correlation between critical success factors ,organizational climate and the quality of working life of public health technical officers were at high level ( r=0.757,p-value<0.001 and r=0.837, p-value<0.001) respectively. And the organizational climate; reward, unity, risk and warmth and the critical success factors; the image development of health services effected and could predict the quality of working life of public health technical officers at 76.4 percentage. (R2=0.764, p-value<0.001)
