Individual Characteristics and Administrative Factors Affecting the Elderly Care of Village Health Volunteers in Po Phan Sub-District Muang District Roi-Et Province

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study individual characteristics and administrative factors affecting operational prevention and control dengue hemorrhagic fever of village health volunteers in Po phan Sub-District Muang District Roi-Et Province, Thailand. 159 personnel were randomly selected as samples by systematic random sampling techniques from 302 village health volunteers. Questionnaires were collected for the quantitative data and in depth interview guidelines for the qualitative data gathering. Data was collected between 1st March to 30th April, 2020. The results showed that four factors including the morale of administrative factor, training of individual characteristics, money of administrative factor and occupations (agriculturalist) of individual characteristics. These four factors effected and could join predict the elderly care of village health volunteers in Po Phan Sub-District Muang District Roi-Et Province at 30.7% (R2 = 0.307, p-value < 0.001)
