Personal Characteristics and Administrative Factors Affecting the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Performance of Village Health Volunteers at Si Chomphu District in Khon Kaen Province

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study personal characteristics and administrative factors affecting the COVID-19 prevention and control performance of village health volunteers at Si Chomphu district in Khon Kaen province, Thailand. The samples were 168 village health volunteers randomly selected as samples by systematic random sampling from 1,572 populations. Data collected by using questionnaires for quantitative data and 14 key informants were used In-depth interview guidelines for the qualitative data gathering. Data analysis was performed by descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that the overall level of administrative factors and the COVID-19 prevention and control performance were at high level. The two factors composed of the administrative factors; technology and management affecting and could joint predict the COVID-19 prevention and control performance of village health volunteers at Si Chomphu district in Khon Kaen province at 68.0% (R2=0.680, p-value<0.001). By this research the public health organization can be used the plan to promote and develop the COVID-19 prevention and control performance of village health volunteers.
