Administrative Factors and Key Success Factors Affecting the Consumer Protection Performance of Health Personnel at Sub-District Health Promoting Hospitals in Phetchabun Province

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study motivation and key success factors affecting the consumer protection performance of health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospitals in Phetchabun province, Thailand. The samples were 134 health personnel randomly selected by simple random sampling from the 154 populations. Data were collected by questionnaire for the quantitative data and in-depth interview guidelines for the qualitative data gathering. Data analysis was performed by descriptive and inferential statistics as the significance level at 0.05. The results showed that the overall motivation, key success factors, and the consumer protection performance of health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospitals in Phetchabun province were at a high level.The results also showed that three independent variables of key success factors; connections between health service facilities in the same network, implementation in areas where readiness and voluntary participation, and development of health service facility image affected and could jointly predict the consumer protection performance of health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospitals in Phetchabun province at 69.8 percent (R2=0.698, p-value<0.001).
