Motivation and Key Success Factors Affecting the Elderly Long Term Care Performance of Health Personnel at Sub – District Health Promoting Hospitals in Phetchabun Province

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study motivation and key success factors affecting the elderly long term care performance of health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospitals in Phetchabun province, Thailand. 105 health personnel were randomly selected as the samples by simple random sampling technique from 154 populations. Data were collected by questionnaires for the quantitative data. Data analysis was performed by descriptive and inferential statistics as significant level at 0.05. The results showed that the overall motivation and key success factors and the elderly long-term care performance of health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospitals were at a high level. Four variables consisted of two variables of key success factors; relevant organization have plans to support the preparation of action plans, building understanding and encouraging cooperation in operations, and two variables of hygiene factors; job status, supervision technical affected and could jointly predict the elderly long term care performance of health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospitals in Phetchabun province. at 70.6 percent (R2 = 0.706, p-value < 0.001).
