Human Resource Management and Emotional Quotient Affecting the Executive Competency for the Directors of Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital in Udon Thani Province

Abstract

This cross-sectional analytical research aimed to study human resource management and emotional quotient affecting the executive competency for the directors of sub-district health promoting hospital in Udon Thani province were 190 people. The data collected using questionnaire. The results showed that the level of overall human resource management, emotional quotient and  the executive competency for the directors of sub-district health promoting hospital in Udon Thani province were at a high level; the average was 4.17 (S.D.=0.42) 4.25 (S.D.=0.40) 4.25 (S.D.=0.41) respectively. The overall human resource management and emotional quotient had significant strong relationships with the executive competency for the directors of sub-district health promoting hospital in Udon Thani province. (r = 0.682, p-value < 0.001) and (r = 0.693, p-value < 0.001) respectively. The results found that human resource management; human resource planning, compensation and welfare management, performance evaluation. And emotional quotient; self control, understanding the feelings of others that could predict the  executive competency for the directors of sub-district health promoting hospital in Udon Thani province at 55.3 % (R2adj = 0.553)
