Leadership Soft Skills and Key Success Factors Affecting the Happiness at Work of Health Personnel in Roi-Et Hospital, Roi-Et Province

Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study leadership soft skills and key success factors affecting the happiness at work of health personnel in  Roi-Et hospital Roi-Et Province , Thailand, A set of 153 health personnel was randomly selected by stratified random sampling technique from 1,493 populations. The quantitative data was collected by using questionnaires and used In-Depth interview guidelines to collect qualitative data. Data analysis was performed by using descriptive and inferential statistics at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the overall level of leadership soft skills, key success factors, and the happiness at work of health personnel were at a high level with an averages of 3.91 (S.D.=0.37), 3.87 (S.D.=0.43) and 3.92 (S.D.=0.28), respectively. Three variables composed of key success factors; the development of the quality of medical care, leadership soft skills; self development and teamwork affected and could jointly predict the happiness at work of health personnel in Roi-et hospital,  Roi-et Province at 28.6 percentage (R2=0.286, p-value<0.001).
