Abstract

This descriptive cross-sectional study aimed to investigate the personal characteristics and success factors influencing job satisfaction of health officers at Sub-district Health Promotion Hospitals in Nakhon Phanom Province. The study population consisted of 490 health officers, from which a stratified random sampling of 153 participants was selected. Data collection tools included a structured questionnaire for quantitative data and an In-Depth Interview guidelines for qualitative data. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used for data analysis. The results indicated that the overall level of success factors and job satisfaction were high, with mean scores of 3.99 (S.D.=0.47) and 4.09 (S.D.=0.44), respectively. Two independent variables factors related to the enhancement of the hospital's image and the connectivity between Sub-district Health Promotion Hospitals and with the parent hospital together predicted and influenced job satisfaction among health officers by 51.7 % (R²=0.517, p-value<0.001)
