Factors Affecting the Participation in the Operation of the Local Health Security Fund Among Local Health Security Fund Committee at Bueng Kan Province

Abstract

This Cross-Sectional Descriptive Research aimed to study factors affecting the  participation in the operation of the local health security fund  among local health security fund committee at Buengkan Province. The sample were 180 personnel with randomly selected by Simple Random Sampling techniques from 969 of population, two research instruments used a self-administered questionnaire for the quantitative data and In-depth interview guidelines for the qualitative data from 9 key informants were used In-depth interview guideline for qualitative data gathering. Data analysis was performed by descriptive and inferential statistics as significant level at 0.05. The results showed that overall of the motivation and the continuous quality improvement were at high level. The results showed that five variables of hygiene factors; professional status, supporting governance enforcement, supporting job security, personal life, motivating factors; work conditions could collaboratively predict the participation in the operations of the local health insurance fund committee at the provincial level, Bueng Kan Province, with an explained variance of 66.0% (R2=0.660,p-value<0.001)
