Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study Organizational Support and Key Success Factors Affecting Elderly Long Term Care Performance of Health Personnel at sub-district Health Promoting Hospitals Nakhonphanom Province. The study population consisted of 221 health officers, from which a Simple random sampling techniques of 127 participants was selected. Data collection tools included a structured questionnaire for quantitative data and an In-Depth Interview guideline for qualitative data. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used for data analysis. The results showed that the overall organizational support and key success factors and the elderly long term care performance of health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospitals were at a high level. Three variables consisted of two key success factors including; the supporting agencies at all levels having support plans and the building understanding and encouraging cooperation, and one of organizational support was management, which were affected and could jointly predicted the elderly long term care performance of health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospitals in Nakhonphanom province at 78.5 percentage (R²=0.785, p-value<0.001).
