Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study the administrative factors and key success factors affecting risk management in the practice of Thai traditional medicine personnel in community hospitals in Health Region 7. The study included 133 Thai traditional medicine personnel from a total population of 168. Research instruments consisted of questionnaires and in-depth interviews with 12 participants. Statistical analyses included descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, specifically Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple linear regression analysis, with statistical significance set at 0.05. The results revealed that the overall levels of administrative factors, key success factors, and risk management practice were high, with mean scores of 4.02 (S.D.=0.50), 4.15 (S.D.=0.50), and 4.09 (S.D.=0.47), respectively. The study found that three variables; key success factors in creating understanding and encouraging cooperation, administrative factors related to time management, and success factors in connecting facilities within the same network - collectively predicted and affected risk management in the practice of Thai traditional medicine personnel in community hospitals in Health Region 7 at 51.0% (R2= 0.510, P-value<0.001).
