Abstract

This study utilized a cross-sectional descriptive design. The objective was to investigate the success factors of organization development and teamwork affecting the provision of diabetes remission care by registered nurses in Sub-district Health Promoting Hospitals (SHPHs), Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The sample studied consisted of 143 registered nurses working in SHPHs within Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The research instruments included a questionnaire for quantitative data and in-depth interview guidelines for qualitative data collection from 12 key informants. Data collection was conducted between November 8, 2025, and November 28, 2025. Data were analyzed using Descriptive Statistics, Inferential Statistics, and Stepwise Multiple Regression with a significance level set at 0.05. The results revealed that, overall, success factors in organization development had a moderate correlation, while teamwork had a high correlation with the diabetes remission care provided by registered nurses in SHPHs, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, at a statistically significant level (r = 0.701, P-value < 0.001 and r = 0.723, P-value < 0.001, respectively). Three independent variables—namely, teamwork regarding appropriate membership and coordination, teamwork regarding systematic work processes, and organization development regarding appropriate goal adjustment—could jointly predict 56.7% of the variance in diabetes remission care (R2 = 0.567, P-value < 0.001). Promote teamwork by designing collaborative tasks and activities with systematic workflows and well-defined goals.
