พฤติกรรมที่สัมพันธ์กับสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้มารับบริการทางทันตกรรมในโรงพยาบาล มาเรียเทเรซาแขวงเวียงจันทน์ สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจพฤติกรรมที่สัมพันธ์กับสุขภาพช่องปาก และปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากที่ดีของผู้มารับบริการทางทันตกรรมในโรงพยาบาลมาเรียเทเรซา แขวงเวียงจันทน์ สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว อาสาสมัคร คือ ผู้ที่มีอายุระหว่าง 19 – 59 ปี จำนวน 363 คน ทำการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเป็นระบบ เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์หาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยกับพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากด้วยสถิติถดถอยโลจิสติกแบบพหุ ผลการศึกษา พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีพฤติกรรมในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากที่ดี ร้อยละ 63.4 มีความรู้ในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากระดับต่ำ ร้อยละ 75.8 มีทัศนคติในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากระดับปานกลางถึงดี ร้อยละ 89.8 และมีพฤติกรรมในการบริโภคอาหารและเครื่องดื่มระดับปานกลางถึงดี ร้อยละ 91.4 ผู้ที่มีความรู้ในระดับปานกลางถึงดีจะมีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการดูแลรักษาสุขภาพช่องปากดีเป็น 2.21 เท่า (95% CI =1.26 – 3.88) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่มีความรู้ในระดับต่ำ ดังนั้น การส่งเสริมให้ความรู้ความเข้าใจในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากที่ถูกต้องจึงมีความสำคัญต่อการมีพฤติกรรมในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากที่ดี
