Submissions

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by any other journals
• The manuscript file and supplementary file must be prepared using Applied Science and Engineering Progress’s template.
• The submitted manuscript must be prepared in English with Microsoft Word format.
• The manuscript must contain appropriate references.
• Submission items must include 1) Manuscript 2) Cover letter to Editor 3) Hightlights 4) Graphical abstract 5) Anonymous manuscript (author's names and affiliation excluded).
• All submitted manuscript will be screened by Turnitin software for plagiarism detection (< 20% similarity)
• Authors do not use AI tools to prepare the manuscript, however AI tools are used for only minor grammar and writing correction
• APC fee will be charged for every accepted article submitted on or after October 1, 2025. Agreement to pay the APC fee is mandatory for further processing of the manuscript. The submitting author is responsible for paying the APC fee if the article is accepted for publication. No fee will be charged for manuscripts that are not accepted for publication.
