About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Thailand Statistician is an international English language double blind peer reviewed journal which is published 4 times a year in January, April, July and October by the Thai Statistical Association. The journal main objective is to encourage research in statistics and related fields in order to support the need for new knowledge and techniques as called upon by other subject matters. In addition, the journal is dedicated to develop young researchers and teachers in the statistics and related disciplines and to provide them with an opportunity to pursue more advanced works. This journal devoted to publish of original research papers, expository research and survey articles, and short research notes in pure and applied statistics, and other related fields in which statistical treatment is significantly involved.
Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published or is being considered for publication by another journal, nor should paper being considered here be submitted to other journals. Manuscripts submitted must follow the journal format given at https://www.tci-thaijo2.org/index.php/thaistat.
Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts must be reviewed by at least two expert reviewers via the double-blinded review system.
Publication Frequency
Published 4 times a year in January, April, July and October.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Publication Fee Policy
Thailand Statistician accepts NO payment for submission or publication of articles of all types. Once accepted, the manuscripts will be printed and disseminated without any charges and are made freely available to all readers via the journal website.
Journal Objective
The main objective of Thailand Statistician is to encourage research in statistics and related fields in order to support the need for new knowledge and techniques as called upon by other subject matters. This journal is devoted to publication of original research papers, expository research and survey articles, and short research notes in pure and applied statistics, and other related fields.
Copyright
Authors submitting a manuscript need to sign the copyright transfer to the Thailand Statistician which it is available on the website here.
Proofs
The corresponding author will receive a PDF proof and is asked to check this proof carefully. Corrections other than printer's errors, however, should be avoided. Costs arising from such corrections will be charged to the authors.
Purchases: How to Order Journals
The corresponding author of a contribution to the journal will receive a complimentary PDF Author’s Copy of the article, unless otherwise stated. Other articles can be access from the journal’s web site without any fees or charges.

Journal History
Thailand Statistician is an international English language journal which is published two times a year by the Thai Statistical Association (TSA). At the beginning a primary objective of Thai Statistical Association is to expand the statistical knowledge among TSA members. The journal publication is an important tool to fulfill such objective.
Nowadays, the journal main objective is to encourage research in statistics and related fields in order to support the need for new knowledge and techniques as called upon by other subject matters. In addition, the journal is dedicated to develop young researchers and teachers in the statistics and related disciplines and to provide them with an opportunity to pursue more advanced works worldwide. This journal devoted to publish of original research papers, expository research and survey articles, and short research notes in pure and applied statistics, and other related fields in which statistical treatment is significantly involved. Any researchers could submit their works to this journal, each paper is a double blind peer review to achieve the highest journal quality.
