Abstract

In this paper, measure of rotatability for second order response surface designs using a pair of balanced incomplete block designs without any additional set of designs points is suggested which enables us to assess the degree of rotatability for a given response surface design. Further, a comparative study on different methods of measure of rotatability using central composite designs, balanced incomplete block designs, pairwise balanced designs, symmetrical unequal block arrangements with two unequal block sizes and partially balanced incomplete block designs are also examined.
