Plagiarism policy
Plagiarism will be assessed within the confines of the ECTI-Transactions on Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communications (ECTI-EEC) if plagiarism is discovered by any editor, reviewer, or member of the editorial board at any step of the article process, including the proof stage, editing, or acceptance. We will let the author or authors know and ask them to either update the text or include citations for the sources they used. The article may be rejected and the author will be notified if more than 30% of the text is determined to be plagiarized.
- Plagiarism Check: All articles submitted for publication undergo a plagiarism check post-submission and prior to the review process.
- Detected Plagiarism: An article exhibiting 30% plagiarism will be rejected prior to evaluation. The authors are encouraged to amend the document and submit it again.
- Report Plagiarism: The editorial team and reviewer team have exercised the utmost care in evaluating plagiarism. However, if plagiarism is detected in published articles of ECTI-EEC, the original contributor is responsible for reporting the plagiarized content to us. The Author(s) will be notified, and the reported cases will be re-evaluated in order to make revisions. The paper will be removed from web sources until the author submits a revised version.
