Preparation of manuscript

Article submitted to ECTI-EEC Journal should be structured in the following manner.

1. Layout & Structure

  • Column format: Printed in a 2-column (Double-column) layout, single-sided. The gutter between columns is 0.2 inches.
  • Font: Use Times New Roman as the main font.
  • Abstract: Approximately 150–250 words in length (formatted as a single-column paragraph). Do not include mathematical equations, references, or untranslated abbreviations.
  • Keywords: Enter 3–10 keywords based on the IEEE Approved Indexing Keyword List.
  • Text: For full length papers, text should be divided into following sections Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion, Acknowledgements and References (Use normal plain font of 10-point Times New Roman for text). Automatic page numbering should be used.
  • Paper Length: For the initial submission, regular papers will be accepted, and each paper must be between 8 and 10 pages in length for the initial review process. (Note: submissions must not exceed 10 pages and must be no fewer than 8 pages.)

2. References & Visuals

  • References: The reference format must follow the IEEE Style, ordered by the numbers appearing in the content (e.g., [1], [2]). Do not arrange them alphabetically.

  • Figures and Tables: For the initial submission, embed figures and tables within the content in the column neatly. Place the table description above (e.g., TABLE I) and the image description below (e.g., Fig. 1.)
  • Resolution & sizing: Figures (color/grayscale) should be at least 300 dpi, and line art/tables at least 600 dpi, per the IEEE template. Size figures to fit a single column (3.5 in) or the full-page width (7.16 in).

3. Equations & Units

  • Equations: Use the Microsoft Equation Editor or the Math Type add-on to create equations (Insert | Object | Create New | Microsoft Equation or Math Type Equation); do not select “Float over text.” Number equations consecutively in parentheses, flush with the right margin (e.g., (1)). Use italics for variable symbols.
  • Units: Use SI units as the primary unit system; other units may be given in parentheses as secondary units.
