การประยุกต์เว็บเซอร์วิสสาหรับบูรณาการระบบบริหารการเรียนการสอน Moodle และระบบงานทะเบียน

บทคัดย่อ
- โปรแกรม Moodle เป็นระบบบริหารการเรียนการสอนที่เป็นโปรแกรมโอเพนซอร์สที่ใช้งานอย่างแพร่หลาย สถาบันการศึกษาหลายสถาบันได้ใช้โปรแกรม Moodle เป็นเครื่องมือในการจัดการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์หรือการเรียนสภาวะเสมือนจริง แต่อย่างไรก็ตามสถาบันการศึกษาส่วนใหญ่มีระบบงานทะเบียนนิสิตเป็นของตนเอง ปัญหาก็คือโปรแกรมประยุกต์เหล่านี้ได้ถูกพัฒนาขึ้นมาอย่างเป็นอิสระด้วยเทคโนโลยีและแพลตฟอร์มที่แตกต่างกัน ดังนั้นจึงเป็นเรื่องยากที่สถาบันการศึกษาจะบูรณาการข้อมูลจากระบบงานที่อยู่เดิมให้เข้ากับโปรแกรม Moodle ซึ่งปัญหาดังกล่าวนาไปสู่การจัดเก็บข้อมูลที่ซ้าซ้อนกันและข้อมูลผิดพลาด วัตถุประสงค์ของงานวิจัยนี้เพื่อออกแบบระบบบูรณาการข้อมูลระหว่างโปรแกรม Moodle เวอร์ชั่น 2 และระบบงานทะเบียนนิสิตโดยประยุกต์สถาปัตยกรรมเชิงบริการ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งเทคโนโลยีเว็บเซอร์วิส (Web Services) และนวัตกรรมของโปรแกรม Windows Workflows ซึ่งสามารถบูรณาการสองระบบที่แตกต่างกันให้ทางานร่วมกันได้ งานวิจัยนี้ใช้ระบบ LMS Moodle บูรณาการข้อมูลกับระบบสารสนเทศงานทะเบียนนิสิตของมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาเป็นกรณีศึกษา ผลการวิจัยพบว่าระบบสามารถเชื่อมโยงข้อมูลจากระบบงานทะเบียนนิสิตไปสู่ระบบ LMS Moodle ได้โดยอัตโนมัติ
