Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate factors causing delays in convenient store construction. This investigation  inspects the importance and frequency of factors influencing the length of the construction. In order to arrive at the results, the study used questionnaires to gather information from foremen both from owners and constructors. The results show that there are 13 factors causing delays from the view point of both sides.  Those delays are from the owners, contractors and other uncontrollable factors.  The study also proposes corrective actions for the project owners and contractors so as to apply such suggestive actions for future implementation.
