Abstract
IC manufacturers have increasingly devoted to use copper wire in welding process because of its low production cost and better electrical conductivity property. This study aims to establish risk management process of replacing gold wire with copper wire by applying Australian/New Zealand standard risk management (AS/NZS 4360) in order to reduce risk or treat risk appearance in operation effect with quality of product. In case study risk management system can be setting successful in welding process. After implementation in real production, the proposed risk management system has enabled a reduction in risk factors level into acceptance level efficiency and decreased overall defective in assembly process 26.98%.
