Abstract
This paper proposes the mathematical model of magnetic fields distributing around power transmission line in the form of complex partial differential equation. The proposed model was used to simulate the magnetic field distributing near the row of ways from different conductor alignments of transmission line by using the finite element method. In this paper, the single-circuit 115 kV transmission line having three typical forms of conductor alignments; i.e., horizontal, vertical and triangular alignment was considered. The comparison results showed that the horizontal alignment provided the most magnetic field density and that of the triangular alignment and the vertical alignment were the second and the third, respectively. However, the amount of magnetic field density from each alignment was lower than the hazardous value based on ICNIRP's standard for the human who work all day in any public place near the row of way.
