EFFECTIVE APPARENT POWER MEASUREMENT BASED ON UNBALANCED AND NONLINEAR LOAD
Main Article Content
Abstract
Based on the comparison of measurement results, the total apparent power in 3 phases 4 wires electrical system when the terminal is connected with unbalanced and nonlinear loads, therefore, the total apparent power followed by the IEEE 1459-2010 Standard and DIN 40110 Standard can have a similar value while the total arithmetic apparent power will less than others. Since the total apparent power is different, the total power factor in the system is also miscellaneous in each calculation method. The only way that the total apparent power equivalent in all calculations method is the condition of the balanced and linear load.
