ณสมบัติทางวิศวกรรมของเสากรวดซีเมนต์เถ้ายูคาลิปตัสเสริมแรงด้วยเส้นใยจากขวดพลาสติก

บทคัดย่อ
การก่อสร้างคันทางบนชั้นดินเหนียวอ่อนมักประสบปัญหาการทรุดตัวและเสถียรภาพต่ำ เนื่องจากดินมีค่ากำลังเฉือนต่ำและ
การยุบตัวสูง การใช้เสารองรับ เช่น เสาคอนกรีต เสาดินซีเมนต์ และเสากรวด สามารถช่วยปรับปรุงคุณภาพดินได้ อย่างไรก็ตาม เสาเหล่านี้มีความแข็งแรงสูงเกินความจำเป็นสำหรับงานคันทางดิน ส่งผลให้มีต้นทุนก่อสร้างที่มากและสิ้นเปลืองทรัพยากร ดังนั้น การศึกษานี้จึงนำเสนอเสาแบบยืดหยุ่นร่วมกับเสาแบบแข็งกลายเป็นเสาแบบกึ่งแข็ง ที่มีความสามารถและคุณสมบัติขึ้นอยู่กับประเภทวัสดุที่นำมาใช้ เรียกว่า “เสากรวดขี้เถ้ายูคาลิปตัสซีเมนต์เสริมแรงด้วยเส้นใยขวดพลาสติก” เพื่อศึกษาคุณสมบัติ
เชิงวิศวกรรมเพื่อนำไปใช้ในการก่อสร้าง ควบคู่กับการลดต้นทุนทรัพยากรและผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยการแทนที่ปูนซีเมนต์บางส่วนด้วยขี้เถ้ายูคาลิปตัสซึ่งเป็นวัสดุเหลือทิ้งจากการเผาชีวมวลของโรงไฟฟ้าพลังงานชีวมวล ที่มีองค์ประกอบทางเคมีเหมาะสมสำหรับใช้เป็นวัสดุปอซโซลานิก สามารถเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการยึดประสานของวัสดุ ขณะเดียวกันได้นำขวดพลาสติกที่จัดอยู่ในวัสดุเหลือทิ้งประเภทขยะพลาสติกรีไซเคิลมาแปรรูปเป็นเส้นใยเพื่อปรับปรุงและเสริมประสิทธิภาพของวัสดุ อีกทั้งยังเป็นการลดปริมาณขยะต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม วัสดุที่ใช้ประกอบด้วยมวลรวมหยาบขนาด 4.76–9.51 และ 9.51–19.00 มิลลิเมตร ปูนซีเมนต์
ไฮดรอลิกในปริมาณ 340 กิโลกรัมต่อลูกบาศก์เมตร อัตราส่วนน้ำต่อปูนซีเมนต์เท่ากับ 0.32 โดยแทนที่ปูนซีเมนต์ด้วยขี้เถ้า
ยูคาลิปตัสในอัตราส่วนร้อยละ 5, 10, 15, 20 และ 25 โดยน้ำหนัก และใช้เส้นใยจากขวดพลาสติกขนาดความกว้าง 2 มิลลิเมตร ความยาว 70 มิลลิเมตร ในปริมาณร้อยละ 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 และ 2.0 โดยปริมาตร ทำการทดสอบความพรุน กำลังรับแรงอัด กำลังดึงแบบผ่าซีก และสัมประสิทธิ์การซึมผ่านของน้ำ ที่อายุการบ่ม 28 และ 90 วัน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ขนาดมวลรวม ปริมาณเถ้า
ยูคาลิปตัส และปริมาณเส้นใยพลาสติก ล้วนส่งผลต่อกำลังรับแรงและความสามารถในการระบายน้ำของเสา โดยมวลรวมแบบคละให้กำลังรับแรงสูงสุดจากการจัดเรียงตัวที่ดี ขณะที่มวลรวมขนาดเดียวให้ความพรุนและการไหลซึมผ่านของน้ำที่ดีกว่า การแทนที่ปูนซีเมนต์ด้วยเถ้ายูคาลิปตัสที่ร้อยละ 10 ส่งผลให้มีกำลังรับแรงสูงสุด ความพรุนและสัมประสิทธิ์การไหลซึมผ่านต่ำสุด ในส่วนของเส้นใยพลาสติกที่ปริมาณร้อยละ 1.0 ส่งผลให้มีกำลังรับแรงสูงสุด ความพรุนและสัมประสิทธิ์การไหลซึมผ่านต่ำสุด ผลการวิจัยนี้สามารถใช้เป็นแนวทางในการออกแบบสัดส่วนผสมของเสากรวดซีเมนต์เถ้ายูคาลิปตัสเสริมแรงด้วยเส้นใยขวดพลาสติก
ให้เหมาะสมกับวัตถุประสงค์การใช้งาน ไม่ว่าจะเน้นด้านกำลังรับแรงหรือด้านการระบายน้ำ อันเป็นการใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างคุ้มค่าและลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
