Administrative factors and Organizational climate affecting the Organizational commitment of Public Health Personnel at Sub-District Health Promoting Hospitals in Buriram Province

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study Administrative Factors and Organizational Climate Affecting the Organizational Commitment of Public Health Personnel at Sub-District Health Promoting Hospitals in Buriram Province, Thailand. A set of 146 health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospitals were randomly selected by stratified random sampling technique from 1,055 populations. The quantitative data was collected using questionnaires and used In-Depth interview guidelines to collect qualitative data from 12 key informant. Statistical analyses included descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, specifically Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple linear regression analysis, with statistical significance set at 0.05. The results showed that the overall level of administrative factors, organizational climate, and the organizational commitment were at a high level with averages of 4.04 (S.D.=0.51), 4.08 (S.D.=0.48), and 4.21 (S.D.=0.43), respectively. Four variables composed of organizational climate; responsibility, standard setting, identity, and support were affected and could jointly predicted the organizational commitment of public health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospitals in Buriram province at 71.3% (R2=0.713, p-value<0.001)
