Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to the Engineering Access are required to be in English and use the Journal Template only.

[LaTeX], [ Word   PDF ].

1. Manuscript format

The title page should include the article title, authors' names and affiliations, as well as the contact information for manuscript correspondence, which encompasses email addresses, telephone numbers, and fax numbers. For each author, a numbered superscript should denote their institutional affiliation. The corresponding author should be denoted by an asterisk '*' symbol, and the presenting author's name should be underlined. The contact details for the corresponding author, such as telephone/fax numbers and email address, should be provided as the final entry in the title block.

Following the title, a concise abstract, summarizing the primary findings of the manuscript within the range of 50 to 200 words, should be included. After the abstract, a list of up to 5 keywords, valuable for indexing and search purposes, should be provided. The main body of the manuscript should commence immediately after the keywords. Experimental procedures, data, and computational methods must be described in adequate detail to enable replication by other researchers.

2. Figures, Tables and Equations

The formatting styles for figures, tables, and equations should adhere to 'Figure,' 'Table,' and 'Equation,' respectively, with center alignment. In the case of very large figures or tables, they may span both text columns, but it's crucial to maintain readability of lines and text within them. Captions for figures and tables should be labeled 'Caption' and placed immediately below the respective entity, rather than being integrated into the figures. References to figures, tables, and equations should be denoted as follows: 'Fig. 1,' 'Table 1,' and '(1).'

The lines within tables should have a width of 1 pt. The text within the table should be set in Times New Roman, 8 pt. font size (using the 'Table' style is suggested). A single blank line in the style of 'Gap' should be inserted above the table.

Equations within the paper should be formatted using the 'Equation' style, featuring center-aligned tabulation, equation content, right-aligned tabulation, and appropriate numbering. Symbols should be entered into the text without using Equation Editor objects, instead, they should be typed following the same format as in the equations (italic for variables, bold for vectors and matrices, etc.).

3. Acknowledgements

Acknowledgements can be extended to individuals or institutions that have significantly contributed to the research.

4. References

Authors are kindly requested to give particular consideration to the format of references, employing the IEEE referencing style. The IEEE referencing style, which can be fully explored at https://ieeeauthorcenter.ieee.org/wp-content/uploads/IEEE-Reference-Guide.pdf, entails the insertion of a number [X] within the text at the point where the author cite the work of another author.

At the end of the work, the full reference [X] of the work is provided. Citations and their corresponding references are arranged in the sequence they appear within the text. The in-text citation numbers commence at [1] and progress sequentially throughout the paper. If the author (s) are referencing a source they have already cited in the text, the author (s) can employ the previously assigned number.

5. Biographies

The biographical statement should include the author(s) full name. Furthermore, the author (s) may provide insights into their personal background, academic journey, field placement, and research interest in the article's topic.
