Abstract

The performances of the high heat gas stove with gasification system were investigated design stove to high performances as temperature burner, conduction heat loss, complete combustion, heat efficiency, and carbon oxide (CO) and nitrogen oxide (NOx). Gasifier stove (GB) was compared with supper brazier (SB) and brazier (B). Three types of fuels as tamarind charcoal, Eucalyptus chip and briquette charcoal were used. Each fuel sample of 1000 g was heat to boil water of 3000 g. Temperature of burner, water, and outer wall were recorded with thermocouple type K. The CO and NOx were recorded with exhaust gas analyzer, Testo350 model at start fire and fully burner of fired fuel. A sample test to finish was ash recorded too. The results showed that the temperature burner of GB was 900 °C higher than SB as 700 °C and B as 600 °C. Conduction heat loss, complete combustion, and heat efficiency of GB were 0.1 MJ, 99% and 38.37%, respectively.  CO and NO of GB were 1500 and 97 ppm, respectively. Whereas, SB and B were heat efficiency of 33.29% and 29.29%, and CO and NOx were value during 2392-2765 ppm and 152-163 ppm, respectively.
